Zavtra.UAEstablished by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, Zavtra.UA scholarship program is the first in Ukraine privately funded nationwide initiative to support gifted youth. Its main goal is to facilitate formation and strengthening of a new generation of domestic intellectual and business elites.

We select the most talented students of Ukraine, offer them financial support to continue their education and implement individual projects; provide additional opportunities for personal development, networking, communication, exchange of experience and information.

Zavtra.UA scholarship holders are selected annually in an open nationwide competition. All year 3-6 students studying full time in the program partner universities and other universities with accreditation level 4, are welcome to participate in the competition. The selection criteria are: academic excellence, leadership qualities, communication skills and creativity.

Zavtra.UA scholarship program in facts and figures over 5 years since its launch:

  • More than 1400 scholarship holders from all over Ukraine
  • Partnership with 75 leading universities of Ukraine
  • Zavtra.UA scholarship fund totaled UAH 14 500 000.00
  • Monthly stipend of UAH 942
  • Implemented over 50 social projects aimed at solving pressing social and youth problems
  • Supported 33 individual projects and initiatives aimed at personal and professional development
  • Conducted 4 Zavtra.UA Youth Forums

Additionally, young scholars regularly take part in Zavtra.UA Youth Forum, Annual Meetings of YES, and Public Lectures featuring leading figures from business, politics and culture; they engage in other projects initiated by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and PinchukArtCentre.

Since program launch, scholarship holders attended Public Lectures given by the 42nd US President Bill Clinton, Prime Minister of Great Britain (1997-2007) Tony Blair, President of Israel Shimon Peres, 65th State Secretary of the USA Colin Powell, 7th Secretary General of the UN Kofi Annan, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 Muhammad Yunus, and others.

On November 19, 2011, Zavtra.UA scholarship winners conducted their first social campaign within the framework of the “Let the heart beat” project. The mission of the project is to prevent abortions and raise awareness of pregnant young girls on importance of saving unborn life.
