Today I came to the house at 45 Volodymyrska Street. To one of the most important places for me in Kyiv. From this house, my Jewish grandfather went at dawn on June 22, 1941 to fight against Hitler.

"Crystal Wall of Crying" to be unveiled in Babyn Yar. Opening ceremony was attended by the Presidents of Ukraine, Israel and Germany

On October 6, Babyn Yar hosted an official memorial ceremony for the victims of the tragedy with the participation of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Presidents of Germany and Israel – Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Isaac Herzog.

​​The first phase of the Babyn Yar Memorial is launched. The Supervisory Board of the Holocaust Memorial Center reported on results of 5 years of work

The first phase of the Babyn Yar Memorial is launched. Today, on October 6, the world-famous conceptual artist Maryna Abramovych will present a new memorial object – "Crystal Crying Wall". Within six months, the first museum space – "Kurgan" – will be unveiled.

On the 75th anniversary of one of the most notorious atrocities of the Second World War, members of a broad international coalition gathered today in Kyiv to announce their commitment to create a new memorial and educational center in Ukraine to commemorate the massacre at Babi Yar.
