Both maternity hospitals assume de facto the functions of regional perinatal centres and take the major load in Chernihiv and Zakarpattia regions in terms of deliveries among women of the high risk group with pregnancy pathologies and preterm deliveries.
On 6 June 2017, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation opened the 33rd Cradles of Hope Neonatal Centre in Vinnytsia, on the base of the M.Pirogov Regional Clinic Hospital’s Perinatal Centre.
To ensure continuous operation of medical equipment at Cradles of Hope partner centres, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation has purchased 12 sensors for pulse oximeters of an overall value of UAH 61,785 for the Kyiv Perinatal Centre’s Intensive Care Unit.
