Gerhard Schroeder pointed out that Europe needs "democratic development and territorial integrity of Ukraine". So does Russia because Russia is linked to Ukraine through history, culture and language more than any other European country.
"I am optimistic about the European perspective of Ukraine. Actually, I have no doubt about it" - said Victor Yuschenko during his welcome word on the ceremony of official opening of 4th annual YES meeting.
