PinchukArtCentreThe PinchukArtCentre is the largest and most dynamic private contemporary art centre in Central and Eastern Europe. It is dedicated to fostering artistic education, creation and art appreciation in Ukraine.

The PinchukArtCentre is a leading international centre for contemporary art of the 21st century. It makes an important contribution to cultural participation and artistic emancipation in Ukraine. And it plays a significant role in the cultural dialogue between East and West and between national identity and the challenge of globalization.

The world may change, but art is eternal. That is why we believe that it can enhance the individuality of viewers. And that it can make a contribution to the modernization of society. Our tradition is the future. As of November 2019, the total number of PinchukArtCentre visitors since its opening reached over 3 000 000 people. The PinchukArtCentre is open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. every day except Mondays. Admission is free.

Art Weekend by PinchukArtCentre: PinchukArtCentre and Chilean artist Pilar Quinteros Invite Everyone to Take Part in an Outdoor Performance at Maidan in Kyiv, Ukraine

On Sunday, November 16, 2014 the PinchukArtCentre and Chilean artist Pilar Quinteros, one of 21 artists nominated for the Future Generation Art Prize, invite public to join a street performance called “Friendship of Peoples Fountain”. The participants will be helping the artist to build a cardboard reconstruction of the original Fountain that was removed from Maidan (Independence Square) in Kyiv, Ukraine after the renovations in 2001.

The PinchukArtCentre presents the third “PAC-UA Re-consideration” project - an exhibition by Kharkiv-based artist Ivan Svitlychnyi who was nominated for the PinchukArtCentre Prize in 2011 and 2013. In his new installation entitled “Subimage” that was especially created for the PinchukArtCentre, Svitlychnyi reconsiders his own artistic practice seen through a variety of influences.
