Рhotos from the Sir Elton John collection are to be shown in the PinchukArtCentre

Victor Pinchuk announced that June 16 through August 12 PinchukArtCenter hosts "An Instinctive Eye: A Selection of Contemporary Photographs from the Sir Elton John Collection" exhibition.

150 works from 24 photographers were selected by Elton John from more than a 5,000 copies large of collection for presentation in Kyiv. Works of David LaChapelle, Nan Goldin, Zhang Huan, Sam Taylor Wood, Rineka Dijkstra, Loretta Lux, Ruud Van Empel, Hiroshi Sugimoto and other will feature in Kyiv this summer.

Previously, photos from a private collection of Elton John were shown in public 7 years ago in the High Museum in Atlanta, GA, USA. The coming exhibition is the forth one from the PinchukArtCentre launch in September 2006. Next event where the PinchukArtCentre participates is opening of the Ukrainian pavilion at the 52nd Venetian biennale. The Venetian biennale includes International film festival, International exhibition of the Contemporary Art, International architecture exhibition, Contemporary music festival, Contemporary Theatre and Dance festival.
