The Victor Pinchuk Foundation presented the Ukrainian edition of Bill Clinton’s book “Giving”

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation took the initiative and provided financial support for publishing the Ukrainian edition of Bill Clinton's book "Giving. How Each Of Us Can Change The World". This project was implemented in partnership with the International Renaissance Foundation and with the assistance of the Public Affairs Section at the Embassy of the United States in Ukraine. The main idea of the book is to demonstrate that public engagement and willingness to help can be a major catalyst for changes in the world.

A new era is a time when a new type of world order emerges. The consumer society, which was until recently the most progressive way of life, is now being replaced by the giving society. More and more people view helping others as an important part of their life. The growth potential for philanthropy is immense. According to public opinion polls, nearly half of the Ukrainian population is willing to help people one way or another. And this why this book is now being published in Ukraine.

In the framework of the Second International Conference of the Ukrainian Grant makers Forum, entitled "Philanthropy and crisis: from consumerism to action", held in Kyiv on 19 February, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation presented the Ukrainian edition of the book and offered each participant a free copy.

The Ukrainian edition of the book "Giving" is published by Calvaria Publishing House and is available at retail stores throughout Ukraine.
