The Victor Pinchuk Foundation continues systematic aid of Ukraine on the medical front

Medics and volunteers of the Progov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital to have the opportunity to use the sanatorium for accommodation and training for free

Since the first day of the war, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and the Elena Pinchuk Foundation have been systematically implementing various projects to help Ukraine in order to speed up the victory in the war against rushism.

More than US$35 million have been allocated already for these projects.

Within the framework of its humanitarian aid projects the Victor Pinchuk Foundation rented the premises and territory of the sanatorium in Pushcha-Vodytsa, Kyiv region, for accommodation and training of volunteer-doctors of the First Volunteer Mobile Hospital named after Pirogov (PDMSh).

Recently renovated, comfortable rooms with all amenities can accommodate up to 90 medics and volunteers, a large area will allow for education and training, storage of medicines and parking for 30 cars.

The building with the territory, which belongs to Victor and Olena Pinchuk, and which was previously used by the PDMSH since the first weeks of the war, is being transferred by the owners for the needs of other humanitarian projects.

Since the beginning of the invasion of Russia on the territory of Ukraine, the foundations of Victor and Elena Pinchuk have been conducting large-scale work in various directions of humanitarian projects throughout the country.

On 28 June 2022, Jeff Koons' seminal sculpture Balloon Monkey (Magenta) (2006-2013), presented by Victor and Elena Pinchuk, was sold at Christie's auction. All raised funds of US$ 11.5 million will be directed for humanitarian aid for Ukraine. In particular, the proceeds from the sale will be used to assist soldiers and civilians gravely wounded by war who urgently require prosthetics, medical treatment and rehabilitation to recover as much quality of life as possible.

In general, from the first days of the war, only on the medical front 10 modern armored "ambulances" for evacuating the wounded from shelling and 50+ thousand tactical first-aid kits with tourniquets, celox and bandages were handed over. 77+ thousand tourniquets, 32+ thousand bandages, 2.5 thousand fully equipped tactical first-aid kits and 170 resuscitation backpacks were given to paramedics. 46 hospitals in 17 cities of Ukraine received modern life-saving equipment, as well as medicines and medical consumables. For example, transport incubators for the evacuation of newborns in critical condition were purchased for the hospitals of Sumy, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions. Hospitals in Okhtyrka and Chernihiv are equipped with autonomous generators.
