Victor Pinchuk Foundation to launch the exhibition and discussion program as a part of Deciding Your Tomorrow project in Davos, on the occasion of WEF 2024

On January 16-18, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation and the PinchukArtCentre, in cooperation with the Office of the President of Ukraine, will open the space of the Deciding Your Tomorrow project on the occasion of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Promenade 59. Among the speakers of the exhibition opening will be: Andrzej Duda, President of Poland; Victor Pinchuk, founder of Victor Pinchuk Foundation; Oleksandr Batalov, gunner-medic, Armed Forces of Ukraine and Sviatoslava Mezheva, child deported from Mariupol City. Bjorn Geldhof, artistic director of the PinchukArtCenter, will moderate the opening. 

The Deciding Your Tomorrow project is an immersive visual and intellectual experience, and space for discussion and debate. Four contemporary Ukrainian artists depict Ukraine through a series of compelling video portraits and stories.  An exhibition portraying Ukrainians as they defend freedom, endure losses, and achieve victories. Amid constant threat, it showcases people definitely living their lives.

Another part of the Deciding Your Tomorrow project is a 3-day discussion program (16-18 January) which brings together global thinkers, experts and people from the ground in Ukraine to discuss key aspects of Ukrainians’ defense of life and freedom. How to strengthen and fortify alliances to prevail? How to defeat external aggression while strengthening one’s own society and political system? These are challenges Ukraine shares with its international partners.

Besides the Deciding Your Tomorrow project, this year Victor Pinchuk Foundation will also hold the Ukrainian Breakfast on 18th January, a traditional private event organised on the occasion of the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), and will again co-organize the Ukraine House Davos (16-18 January, at Promenade 59, Davos).
