Sean Parker will join the 5th Davos Philanthropic Roundtable “e-philanthropy”

Sean ParkerSean Parker, internet entrepreneur, co-founder of the Facebook, Napster and Plaxo, will participate in the discussion at the 5th Davos Philanthropic Roundtable, held by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation on the occasion of the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum.

This year’s event, dedicated to e-philanthropy, will focus on how the information and communication technology (ICT) revolutionize philanthropy throughout the world. Sean Parker is known, among others, as one of the founders of Causes – an online advocacy and fundraising application in Facebook, allowing people seek support for various social projects and initiatives.

As previously reported, the 5th Davos Philanthropic Roundtable will bring together former UK Prime Minister and Patron of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation Tony Blair; Internet entrepreneur and Founder of DST Yuri Milner; Senior Advisor on Innovation to the US Secretary of State Alec Ross and Executive Chairman of Google Eric Schmidt.
Chelsea Clinton, board member of the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative will moderate the discussion.
