Joschka Fischer visited Ukraine аt the invitation of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation

Joschka Fischer, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice Chancellor of Germany (1998 - 2005), visited Kyiv on 16 April 2010 at the invitation of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

Mr. Fischer, a leading expert on international relations, took part in a public discussion with students and young scholars from top Ukrainian universities entitled ‘Ukraine, Europe and the Challenges Ahead' organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. The event was held in the conference hall of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine (2, Velyka Zhytomyrska Street) on 16 April from 11.30 till 12.45.

During his visit Joschka Fischer also met Victor Yanukovych, president of Ukraine, and took part in meetings with Ukrainian politicians, experts and business leaders.
