WorldWideStudies scholarship holders met with Pulitzer Prize winner and world-renowned journalist Thomas Friedman

On April 23, the WorldWideStudies scholarship holders had a chance to meet with and columnist of The New York Times, the author of six bestselling books and winner of three Pulitzer Prizes Thomas L. Friedman. The meeting took place after a lecture given by the internationally renowned reporter under the Public Lectures project of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. During the meeting Thomas L. Friedman and young scholars discussed global trends of today and new challenges faced by humanity in the modern globalised world. Additionally, students asked several questions on such pressing issues as the ways of Ukraine’s further development and strategies for introduction of positive changes in the society.
