Second Reunion of WorldWideStudies Alumni held in Kyiv
On Saturday, March 16, 2013, took place the second meeting of the WorldWideStudies alumni who have already completed their master's program studies at foreign universities and returned to Ukraine.
The overarching topic of the meeting, which was initiated by the alumni this time, was a discussion of an idea to create the alumni community that would unite all program graduates and would become a platform for ideas exchange and for development of personal and professional relationships. Additionally, the community members would have an opportunity to actively participate in the projects of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, such as Annual Meetings of the Yalta European Strategy, and attend Public Lectures given by outstanding people at the invitation of the Foundation.
Also, during the meeting young graduates presented and discussed their ideas of social projects aimed at motivating young people to learn more and to find additional ways for self-development, and to encourage active life position in pursue of personal achievements. The meeting resulted in the creation of a working group that will develop these projects further and implement them in life.
The WorldWideStudies alumni plan to have their next meeting in April and intend to get together on a monthly basis. The community members also hope to invite to their meetings successful figures from different areas who would inspire young people to pursue their goals, facing the challenges and promoting positive social changes.
The first meeting of the WorldWideStudies alumni took place in December 2012 and was attended by 20 program graduates with Master degrees from the best universities of the UK, Netherlands, USA, Malta, Sweden and Switzerland, as well as representatives of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.
