Mriya Agro Holding and Zavtra.UA scholarship program of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation to hold educational youth workshop “AgroPerspectiva-2011” on November 3-6, 2011

Mriya Agro Holding and Zavtra.UA scholarship program of the Victor Pinchuk Foundation will conduct educational youth workshop “AgroPerspectiva-2011” on November 3-6, 2011. The event will take place at Ternopil National Technical University (56 Ruska Street, Ternopil) and production facilities of "Mriya Agro Holding” enterprise.

Thirty best agronomy students of study year 4-6, from agricultural universities of Ukraine, selected among 196 candidates over the course of the competition, including Zavtra.UA scholarship holders, will take part in this seminar.

The workshop is to prepare young professionals in the agricultural industry, increase their skills. It also aims at encouraging companies to accept students as their trainees with an opportunity of a further employment. During the seminar, students will gain practical knowledge and learn about advanced technologies that are used in agricultural sector.

As part of its educational program, the Victor Pinchuk Foundation focuses on students studying agronomy. In particular, the project "WorldWideStudies" offers grants for students in this field who want to proceed their studies abroad. In 2011, Yuri Lotonenko started his Master’s degree program at the University of Copenhagen (Landscape Architecture and Urban Design) and Oleksiy Ryzhkov at Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Euroforester program).
