Veteran Hub

VeteranHubThe Veteran Hub is the first open space in Ukraine for veterans and NGOs dealing with veteran affairs. It combines an administrative centre that provides social, psychological and legal support with an educational platform for events for veterans, their families and society in general. It was opened in partnership with the Olena Pinchuk Foundation, Victor Pinchuk Foundation and Pobratymy NGO in Kyiv in 2018.

The Veteran Hub provides centralized services to veterans, security sector employees (police and rescue workers), their relatives and loved ones, members of military families and families of missing persons, hostages, and victims of war. It also supports their integration into social life.

The Veteran Hub unites a range of public organizations providing psychosocial services while retaining their own organizational and communicational identity. Organizations use a common space to make existing services more accessible and convenient for people who need a range of different services according to their specific experiences and situation.

The Veteran Hub continues a strategy aimed at preserving lives and health of people serving in the military and volunteers, developed in 2014-2015 under the Medsanbat project by Victor and Olena Pinchuk, in cooperation with the Pobratymy NGO in particular. This project was aimed at training military doctors in NATO standards and developing Ukrainian standards for tactical medicine.
