Steppes of Dreamers: Ukraine opened its Pavilion at the 53rd Venice Biennale04.06.2009
The PinchukArtCentre and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Ukraine presented the Steppes of Dreamers art-project at the 53rd Venice Biennale. This Ukrainian exhibition became a major contribution to this year's Venice Biennale entitled Making Worlds 
Victor Pinchuk conferred with the title of the ‘Honoured citizen of Kyiv’29.05.2009
On May 21st, 2009, according to the decision of the Kyiv City Council, Victor Pinchuk was conferred with the title of the ‘Honoured Citizen of Kyiv’ for the ‘valuable personal contribution to the development of business in Ukraine and in the city of Kyiv, for strengthening the international authority of the Ukrainian capital – Kyiv – and for personal merits in the state, public, philanthropic and cultural activity, and on the occasion of the celebration of Kyiv Day’ |
